Last night I was talking to a good friend about love and healing from hurt, and heartbreak. Discussing in detail about the first time my heart was broken made me think about the importance of acknowledging and validating your personal feelings. Sometimes we think being strong means not giving in to our emotions. Real power comes from being vulnerable enough to feel whatever we feel. We may not see the lesson until we feel the feeling. It was at that moment I was able to feel the pain, hurt, resentment, anger, rejection, and denial. After acknowledging and validating my feelings about my relationship is when I was able to move forward into new circumstances, and accept my own personal growth. I am thankful for the lesson and being able to move forward with love and life. My advice for anyone dealing with a situation feel the feeling and then release it. Happy Hump Day! ~Michael D. Gatson
If you don’t love yourself, you’ll always be chasing after people who do not love you either. #selfloveisreal
I try to live a life with no regrets because we have choices in this life. We learn some behaviors have some self/defeating consequences, while others have beneficial consequences. As human beings we can alter our lives by altering our attitudes of the mind. As you think, so shall you be. Remember, there are no mistakes, only lessons.
Few people get to do what they want to do in life. Be one of them. Thanks for tuning in to hear me on the radio this afternoon. Have a blessed weekend! ~Michael D. Gatson

All the truths in the world don’t matter unless and until we discover them to be true for ourselves. Find out what’s true for you.
Making mistakes is something everyone does. Learning from them is not.
When you truly believe in what you are doing, it shows. And it pays. Winners in life are those who are excited about where they’re going. Have a blessed Easter weekend! MDG
